World-Wide Bridge Contest (Friday Evening and Saturday Afternoon)

We have two special bridge events this week:

(1) Friday, June 3, 6 p.m. In addition to our regular Friday afternoon game, there will be a second evening game at the club (3108 S. Clark St.), beginning at 6 p.m. This will be the first of two World-Wide Bridge Contests. Each contest is separate and there is no requirement for you to play in both. There will be pizza served between the two Friday sessions, beginning about 5 p.m., and everyone who participates in the evening event will receive a booklet with hand analyses from Eric Kokish.

(2) Saturday, June 4, 1 p.m. The second World-Wide Bridge Contest will be held south of the (Missoula) border in Corvallis. This game will begin at 1 p.m. and be held at the Corvallis United Methodist Church (located on the corner of Eastside Highway and Cemetery Road; here's their link: http://corvallisumc.org/). It would be great if Missoula players would turn out in force to support our southern neighbors in the first sanctioned game in Ravalli County in a long time. Talk to Terry or Rosemary if you want a ride and remember to sign up at the club (or respond to this email). To get to the location (Corvallis United Methodist Church) on the corner of Eastside Highway and Cemetery Road, turn off of Highway 93 at either Stevensville and go through town, staying on the Eastside Highway or turn off Highway 93 at the Bell Crossing and go approximately a mile to the stop sign where you hit the Eastside Highway, and turn south. The church is approximately a mile past the four-way stop in Corvallis and faces Cemetery Road. There will be a separate booklet with hand analyses for this event.

We hope to see you at one or both of these events!
