Intermediate Bridge Lessons

posted Feb 7, 2015, 4:48 PM by Paul Muench

Dear Bridge Students,

I want to welcome everyone to my upcoming bridge lessons. I will be teaching

Intermediate Bridge I and Intermediate Bridge II. Each class will include 30 minutes of

instruction, 30 minutes of worksheets, and 1 hour of guided play. Classes will commence on

Tuesday, February 10th at the Missoula Bridge Club, 2825 Stockyard Road, Building I-3.

Intermediate Bridge I is geared towards bridge players who want to build upon their

game skills and have taken the basics of bridge play and bidding. Besides strengthening your

game, I will work with you on the skills to play competitively at the Duplicate Club as well as

playing in tournaments. Classes will start on Tuesday, February 10th, at 9 am to 11am. Our first

class will be on Opening Leads. On February 17th, I will start an 8-week series on Declarer Play.

Intermediate Bridge II is designed for bridge players who want to learn more advanced

topics such as balancing, 2/1, and end plays. I suggest that you have either taken my

Intermediate classes in the past or take Intermediate Bridge I concurrently. Intermediate

Bridge II will move at a quicker pace. This class will be held from 12 pm to 2 pm on Tuesdays.

The first class on February 10th will cover Roman Keycard Blackwood. On February 17, I will

start an 8-week series on Balancing in Competitive Bidding.

Payment options are as follows:

1. $15 for an individual 2-hour session or if you take both intermediate lessons $25.

2. If you sign up for either of the complete series, you will receive a $10 discount. If you

are unable to attend a lesson, you will receive the lesson packet.

If the cost hinders you from taking any of the lessons, please contact me.

Please contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to helping you become a

better bridge player and hope to see you at the table.

Sincerely,

Michael Boreson
