Our club had two members in 2010 who achieved national rankings in the ACBL masterpoint races.

Michael Boreson, new member in the club, has achieved a national ranking in the 0-5 category for both the Mini-McKenney and the Aces of Clubs. In his first year of competitive duplicate, Michael obtained 157.89 masterpoints (including 78.61 at the club level). This resulted in his coming in 1st place in both categories for District 18, 3rd place nationally in the Mini-McKenney and 4th place nationally in the Aces of Clubs.

Paul Muench also achieved a national ranking in the Mini-McKenney (20-50 category), placing 13th nationally by obtaining 153.73 masterpoints. He placed 1st in the Mini-McKenney and 4th in the Aces of Clubs for District 18.

Several club members achieved District-level rankings:

Lane Coulston placed 19th in the Aces of Clubs (0-5 category).
Charles Pengilly placed 18th in the Mini-McKenney and 12th in the Aces of Clubs (5-20 category).
Beth Loenen placed 10th in the Mini-McKenney (20-50 category).
Ken and Lori Bryan tied for 5th place in the Mini-McKenney and tied for 17th place in the Aces of Clubs (300-500 category).

Nice job, everyone!
